This Job Description describes the duties, responsibilities, and expectations for the position of Production Specialist for TPI Custom Solutions.

Basic Functions & Responsibilities

Coordinate all activities related to the Production of all kitted materials for miscellaneous short-term and long-term projects.

Perform accurate production tasks and documentation, as assigned.
Perform maintenance, and cleaning as requested in a timely manner.
Must perform to the best of their ability all other tasks assigned by the Production Manager, Production Lead, or CEO/President.

Requirements

Education

High School Diploma required. Extensive applicable experience may be substituted for the required education.
Requires 2 years or more of production style work and documentation experience in a company.

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

Excellent Math Skills and the ability to read and follow instructions on all company documentation.
Ability to operate a computer and enter and format data using software, such as Microsoft Word and Excel. Must be able to learn industry specific software.
Must be able to address and overcome all issues related to the accurate posting and recording of data in all related department work.
Must be able to speak, read and write English, as well as be able to prepare and interpret the company’s internal documentation process.
Must lead by example in all areas of professionalism, and must command the respect of his/her peers and the company customer/vendor base.
Must have the ability to speak with poise and confidence.
Must be able to understand complex issues and problems, and consistently reach sound business decisions.
Must possess the ability to coordinate a variety of routine projects and activities simultaneously without losing control, poise, or professionalism.
Knowledge of, or the ability to learn to operate heavy machinery used in the production process.

Physical Requirements

The Production Specialist must be able to walk throughout the shop floor, navigating around office furniture and equipment.
Must have excellent eyesight and hearing, with or without correction
Must have physical capacity and strength to lift 50 lbs of objects.
Standing and/or sitting for long periods of time.
The position occasionally requires stooping, kneeling, walking, bending, and crouching to pull and cut materials within the shop area.
Body Movements: Use of hands, arms, legs, eyes, and voice.
